Animal Edition:

Wyatt and his wife Jade own “The Cheshire Cat Café” which is a zen sanctuary where patrons can enjoy coffee as well as play with some sweet rescue kitties that are up for adoption.  Since Covid-19, the café was considered a “non-essential” business and had to close their doors for 2 months.  They were in need of extra funds to provide food, litter and care to their 23 cats so they did a fundraiser on Fundraiser Tees.  The store was a roaring success and with the profits, Wyatt and Jade were not only able to rent a larger facility, hire more staff and take in 60 new rescue cats, but they were able to franchise nationwide!  Now with 43 cafés throughout the US, they have been able to help over 1,100 cats get adopted!  Each café will do their own Fundraiser Tees store quarterly which will bring awareness and extra funds to help keep the cat sanctuary thriving.

This Week's Best Seller:

Perfect For Schools.

One of the biggest gripes we get from our clients who are teachers is the headache they have to endure to raise money for their school or organization.  They get a student to submit art, and since it was drawn with markers or made on a phone app, it is no good for production.  So they have to deal with a grumpy artist (me) to get that going.  Then they have to get permission slips signed and collected.  Then they have to collect everyone’s money.  Then, once the order is completed they have to go over all the orders and hope they dispense the shirts right.  With Fundraiser Tees, all of that goes away.  Now it’s just the parents whipping out their credit card at home (which that is their preferred method any way)…and THAT’S IT.

Jefferson High’s Chess Club needed funds for their competition in Miami

So they ran a fundraiser on Fundraiser Tees hoping to cover the costs of snacks and batteries for their wireless routers.  The store was a huge success (see related story: Hackers Place Free Ads on Google) and with the profits generated they were able to skip the hostel and stay at the luxiorious Fontainebleau Miami Beach, hoster of big wigs like Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley. The guys hung around the swanky, cabana-corralled pool and shared chess strategies with the likes of Katy Perry and Rihanna.  They skipped such amenities as the luxe Lapis spa (with age-defying facials and mineral water pools) and seven restaurants, but were stoked their individual suites came equipped with iMacs, flat-screen TVs, bathrobes and energy drink-filled minibars. They took full advantage of  the in-room Wi-Fi access but chose to opt out of the one fitness class per stay.

The fifth highest paid actor in Hollywood

needed cash and needed it fast.  This beloved actor’s lavish lifestyle had him in an estimated 40-million dollar deficit.  150-foot yachts don’t come cheap ($18 million) and $4 million lost on a failed record label did not help.  So what did Mr. Depp do so he could continue spending $30,000 a month on wine, $300,000 a month to maintain a 40-person staff, $150,000 a month for 24-hour security, $200,000 a month on private planes? He had an online e-commerce store set up by Fundraiser Tees to sell t-shirts to all of his fans, friends, and family.  It is reported the venture was so successful he was able to afford the $3 million dollars needed to blast journalistic legend Hunter S. Thompson’s ashes out of a cannon.
